AR-049 Explosion-Safe LED Traffic Light

The AR-049 is an explosion-safe LED traffic light engineered for operation under demanding industrial conditions. Its rugged AISI 316 stainless steel housing, 4mm impact-resistant polycarbonate windows, O-ring seals and encapsulated electronics provide excellent resistance to water and salt.

High-efficiency, latest-generation LEDs ensure a bright and highly visible signal. The AR-049 is available in single, double and triple lamp configurations and can be supplied in different combinations of red, yellow/amber and green.

Each signal can operate continuously or blink at a frequency of 1 Hz, depending on the selected configuration. Horizontal sun hoods are supplied as standard, and two stainless steel mounting brackets are included for installation.

The single-lamp version is supplied with a fixed 5 metre cable, while the 2-lamp and 3-lamp versions are equipped with an internal junction box made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP).

The AR-049 is certified in accordance with European Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX 114) and carries CE marking for EMC compliance. It is suitable for use in Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.

For applications limited to Zone 2 and Zone 22, the similar AR-045 LED traffic light is available.
