GRP Ex control stations construction
GRP Ex control stations – ATEX / IECEx enclosures of HCS1P series control stations are made of impact-resistant glass fibre reinforced polyester (GRP). HARDO control stations have IP65/66 rating. All metallic parts are made of non-corrosive materials. HCS1P series control stations can be fitted with a variety of components like pushbuttons, signal lamps, switches and ammeters. A wide range of certified third party components is available. HCS1P series of control stations have following features:

- Hinged cover as an option.
- Polyamide or metallic cable glands can be installed.
- Cover gasket is made of silicone.
- Components can be DIN rail or cover mounted.
Function
HCS1P series control stations are widely used across hazardous areas. Main applications include:
- NO/NC switch stations with or without signal lamps.
- Mushroom head safety stop stations.
- Isolator switches.
- Measuring device stations.
- Automation control stations.
- Lighting adjustments.
- Terminal units.
- Electrical enclosure.
- Battery holder.
HCS1P series control stations can also include any combination of the above listed functions.
